  • Download the following file to your hard drive, and open it in excel: http://files.ssbabasketball.com/resignings.xls
  • Open up FBB, go to Franchise | Player Contracts.
  • Click on the name of each player with an expiring contract. NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CLICK ON THE NAME. IF YOU HIT THE DOWN KEY, PLAYERS WILL NEVER OFF CONTRACT EXTENSIONS
  • If when you click on a players name the "Negotiate" button in the bottom right highlights, that player is offering a contract. Click negotiate to get the details
  • This will give you the details of the contract they are offering (including the value of the contract for all years).
  • Open up the excel spreadsheet. For each player that offers a contract, fill in the Team (Team column), the Player's name (Player column), and the value for all the years in the contract they are offering.
    • Do not include comma's, dollar signs or dots in the values. I.e., for $6,000,000, put 6000000. If Excel auto-formats, that's fine.
  • Keep the "ID", "Year", and "accept" values blank (they will automatically fill in when I put them in the database.
  • If a team doesn't have a player offering an extension, please include a row with the team name, and for the player name enter "None". Don't enter any salary fields.
  • Once all the bids are entered (a typical season there will be 70-90 FA Extension offers), e-mail me the file (dbodner@phillyarena.net), and I will convert it into a database and place it online.
